Most parents make the mistakes of outsourcing parenting, instead getting parenting advice for their wards. They put the responsibility on their school teachers or religious leaders, parents were always with children while the teachers were only with them for few hours. The real parenting had to be done by parent themselves, while teachers will only explain what the parent have taught them (children) on respecting parents and elders, acting responsiby, dating morally and dressing morally.Sometimes, the livestyle of a teenager will change from what he or she has learnt from what he has been taught at school or church especially to those that really want to change. However, teens prefer their parents making great impart in their lives than their teahers or any other person around. You can talk to his teacher about it, he can tell you how he will assist you in the set goal. He may not do it for you, but can assist you to achieve the goal.Good parenting comes with discipline, parent should always discipline their children, but most parent are too busy that they negelect these vital role to their children, they believe that is the role of the teacher to discipline their hildren. You can only be their parent and nobody else.School teacher and religious leaders can assist you raising your child, if you choose too and selecting after your due diligence. You should set goal and follow up with their assistants to achieve it and make sure you maintain your leader and monitor the relationship between your children and their leaders or teachers. Come up with ways they an assist you as you train your child. Don't let others do your job, rather raise your child.
